What We Do
Our Offshore Platforms
Blue Silo Aquaculture intends to operate in the Gulf of Mexico using idle offshore oil and gas platforms as operating bases.
Reused Offshore Infrastructure
Blue Silo Aquaculture is one of many businesses and operations that intend to take advantage of existing Gulf of Mexico energy infrastructure that have been in place for decades.
Integrated Multi Trophic Aquaculture

Food Source For The U.S
The Gulf coast area of the United States is well known for the availability of fresh seafood. However, over 80% of the seafood consumed in the United States is imported.
Blue Silo Aquaculture
Providing Disease Free, Highly Oxygenated Habitat
These platforms sit in a pristine environment of clean blue ocean waters on the US Continental Shelf of the Gulf of Mexico, which provide a disease free, highly oxygenated habitat. The platforms will provide space for living quarters and labs, feeding systems, data collection and transmission and tender boat storage. In addition, the structures will also give the finfish submersible sea pens, shellfish ropes and algae substrate anchorage sites for mooring.
